The safety and security of our guests are a top priority. Security personnel are on duty during evenings and weekends. Our overnight security guard can assist in the event of misplaced keys or for after-hours help – just call (269) 353-0538, and they will be on the way. Additionally, the campus has gentle lighting and cameras in key areas for safety while still preserving the tranquil night sky.

Recreation & Reflection
Seasons is designed not just for team meetings, but also whole-person well-being.
Guests can access the Fitness Center — equipped with cardio machines, free weights, and full locker rooms. Perfect for an early morning workout or evening stretch.
We invite you to use our Sacred Practice Room, a serene space on the second floor of the Institute, for quiet prayer or meditation.
The Institute’s Library is filled with inspiring books on spirituality and transformation you can browse at leisure, as well as walking paths throughout our 169-acre wooded campus for those who wish to stroll and reflect in nature. Among the woods and meadows you’ll discover outdoor seating nooks and animal sculptures — all intended to help you slow down and convene with the Sacred in nature.
Community Spaces
The Living Room features comfortable seating, a welcoming fireplace, and panoramic windows that open to the surrounding landscape. A piano and collection of musical instruments invite moments of spontaneous creativity, soulful expression, and shared joy. Guests are warmly encouraged to play, listen, and connect through music, whether in spirited collaboration, reflection or deep listening.
Upstairs, the Meeting Room’s newly curated breakout spaces — Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter — offer guests distinct atmospheres to support contemplative retreat and intimate conversation. Each space is designed with the different moods of the seasons, inviting you to attune your inner rhythm with those of nature. Whether you’re seeking stillness, renewal, grounding, or clarity, these spaces provide gentle refuge with contemplative windows that frame the forested grounds.
As a spacious communal area, the Meeting Room invites group meditation, prayer or movement as well as refuge for meaningful dialogue on the pressing challenges of our time — a space to be present together in sacred rhythm. Whether in stillness or song, in solitude or circle, the Meeting House is crafted to foster spiritual spaciousness, belonging and inner restoration.
You’ll also find the John E. Fetzer Exhibit, A Legacy of Love, in the Institute building nearby, offering a glimpse into our founder’s spiritual journey and the enduring vision that animates this place.
